Muralidharan was the MD & VP of JobStreet.com India Pvt Ltd. He launched the India operations in the year 2000 for this Pan Asian portal and in April 2006 negotiated a 50% sale of the Indian Unit to TV 18 and appointed a new CEO to run the day to day operations of the joint venture. He is presently pursuing other interests like being involved with academia, coaching, mentoring and consulting.

Prior to joining JobStreet as a partner, Murali was with Informix International Inc, a leading Database and Business Solutions Software company as the Managing Director, South Asia. Earlier to this he was with SGI Inc, the leading workstation company as their General Manager & Country Head. Murali had joined SGI from Wipro Ltd after a 10-year stint with them. He was the Vice President for Solutions and System Integration Division at Wipro when he moved over to SGI Inc.

Before joining Wipro he was with organizations like Modi Xerox, Tata Burroughs (now part of TCS) and Bharat Gears Ltd. Murali is a Mechanical Engineer from VJTI, Mumbai and also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management. He is an active public speaker and member of various management associations and professional bodies.
